Ramona
Ramona started her dance journey in London back in the 90's with JWAAD (Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance). She also studied with Julia Brunswick of the ‘Raqs Shaki Society’ and is indebted to these very influential UK based dance movements for her lifelong obsession in Arabic dance.
Besides the joy of performance Ramona is passionate about sharing this beautiful dance form through teaching and has for many years run successful classes and workshops. The student experience matters and Ramona is dedicated to inspire, encourage and bring fun to her classes. Her dance style is emotive, graceful and covers a wide range of genres within Arabic dance.
Shimmilicious
Shimmilicous are a dynamic, colourful fun bellydance troupe who have performed many times at festivals, community events and parties etc. They are experienced dancers who offer a wide variety of styles, their dances include veils, isis wings, silk fans and assaya (sticks).
